To help secure your today and tomorrow we ask that you check your Social Security Statement every year because we base our benefit calculations on the earnings information in the Statement. Errors could prevent workers or their family members from receiving benefits they are due.
At Social Security, we believe that this is so important that on April 7 we will host National Check Your Statement Day. This new public awareness day reminds workers to check their statement and verify their earnings.
